Space Rampage Prototype

hello everyone, though i havent posted here very much, i ve been following this forum for some time, mainly this last days when i was doing a research for building Space Rampage

Might it be possible to host a download somewhere else, too?  Gamedev requires registration and I'm already registered at *so* many places  Shocked

Update: maybe it doesn't, not sure, as your link is an "edit topic" link.  You should fix that.

i have put the directx dll inside the game, if anyone was having problems with a missing dll, plz download again, the link is the same Wink

also added screens for your convenience Smiley

It looks really good but its just too bright. I can hardly tell where my ship is most of the time. Also there is no menu screen so its kind of confusing.

But It seems that this is a work in progress so its understandable.

Wayyyy too much of the additive blending. That big slice of bright nebula in the background is basically one giant blind spot. Being able to very clearly distinguish the bullets, enemies, and other dangerous stuff, along with the player ship, is simply essential for the genre, especially for a game with so many fast bullets on the screen!
If you can fix that it does look exciting. Keep on. Smiley
