This one-level game was created for shmup.com's "horizontal scroller with BOSS" competition 2006.

Game controls can be configured ingame.

arrow pad  : move the Ship

button 2   : bomb

5th ain't bad. Good work guys. I did what I could with 8 bit, mono, 22khz sound files (pretty much the worst possible quality you can get), and no previous knowledge of how space shooter music is "supposed" to be.

Oh I am sorry that I couldn't make this more obvious. I originally wanted to give the player a hint, but we were running short on time in development.

So you have to wait for the enemy missiles to land in the pillar. Which will destroy the rails and let the train crush down.
