My Entry!
i would like to here by enter myself in the dragon compo, my game shall be called "YIKY-YAKY-WOO!", that wont be its real name i just needed to come up with something for the time being. it will be a top down side scroller with graphics all made by me, so in other words the graphics wont be that good. but yes, i would like to enter, weather or not i will finish my game by the dead line or not i dont know but i can try.

i have come up with a name for my entry, it will be called "Visible Entity".

Aviator sunglasses are pretty much the shmups of the sunglasses world.

well if you want a screenshot youll get a screenshot, be warned it wont be very good! the graphics in my game really arnt very good, im going more for gameplay, also in the screenshots i took you really dont get a good sense of what is going on. but i will post some!

[edit] at the moment there is no music, but i might change that in the near future, it just depends.

Pretty fun game!  Although you might put a disclaimer in your readme file:

"Not responsible for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome induced by repeated smacking of the 'spacebar' and 'arrow' keys."   Wink

I think I got to the end boss (big green baddie at top of screen that shot balls at me)...  After I killed it, waves of small dragons came at me again.  I'll be the first to say this - you're definitely not going to run out of things to shoot at in THIS game.  Heh, it was fun!

It ran great on my system.  It plays fullscreen, so anybody who is afraid of fullscreen games should steer clear of this one.  If you ARE afraid, then too bad for you because this is a fun game.

The crows seemed to be calling his name, thought Caw.

ahh, thank you!!!!!!! Grin Grin i do find that when you play it for a while it starts to hurt your hand!  Cool and i would hope that people arnt affraid of fullscreen!! i was going to make it windowed but i found that in full screen it just gat you more into it and kept your eyes moveing. thank you very much.

Simply Great work Magicman! I'm glad your entry pulled through...unlike mine...

Anyways, Oddly enough, the version I saved Wouldn't have made it because it was 16MB and I can't seem to host it for some odd reason. When I can, I'll give you a copy!

I really enjoyed the title screen with the alpha wand thing. Right now, I'm still trying to find out how that is done. I also liked the gameplay mainly because I was at it for 2 hours, saying in my head, "I'm almost at the end. I'm almost at the end." After 2 hours, I said, "AH!!! CRAMP!!!"

Altho I can see it without music, I can still look at it and go, "What would go with this..." It's a kind of game where it doesn't need music to be fun. The game is good, and music is nothing more than icing on the cake, the game itself the actual cake. Figures why kids love good graphics and music: Kids standard rule to life: Forget the cake, go for the icing! If people really are true gamers, then they will love this!

Being Half Dragon is odd...
