the sound is a little bit cranky but that's ok.
I have a problem with the sound when/if I have other sound programs open (such as Audacity or Windows Media Player) I'm not sure why but I think they fight for control of the sound channels on the sound card. If you don't have anything like that open then I don't know what could be causing the problem, some people have issues with it and others don't, I assume it has to do with how pygame accesses the sound card.
