shmup libraries and resources

IS there a wiki or sticky with all the shmup resources ? I'm looking for libraries or programs that will make the task much easier. I don't want to code a whole lot of junk, nor do I have the geometry skills for bullets. There is a Japanese site with a ton of source code somewhere (I don't remember the link).

Hello Reptile - welcome to the new forum

The old forum had sections for Resources, Assistance and Tutorials (http://shmup-dev.com/forum-archive/).
We've just recently moved to this new forum so it's a little empty at the moment. I'm also hoping to assemble a list of tools and tutorials on the site's front page at http://www.shmup-dev.com

If there's any specific engine or tools you want to ask about feel free to post a question and someone may be able to help you.
